CraftCrap: March 2014

So let me tell you. I got this little baddie at Old Navy last spring and boy when I seen it I knew that it had to be one of my top pieces of go-to clothing. My sister rolled her eyes and shook her damn head at my 30-something ass still loving some childish crap like this. What can I say, my heart and mind are as youthful as I was back in '96. Screw me.

And I figured I would put two and two together and make it extra special with some leopard Cali elbow patches but after what I did to this piece of awesomeness, I said nay to the elbow patches cause this shirt was about to be able to stand alone with such a simple (colorful) stitch addition coming its way...

(I made these into some earrings tho! I'll show you in a sec.)

The minute I started this venture I knew I was just gonna fall in love as I kept adding random colors. Gosh I can't tell you how much I really indulged in this. I mean thats where I was feeling like I should just keep going with adding the elbow patches, but sometimes you gotta know when to say "Chill Homegirl." So I did just that. I wear this thing on the regular now even though I wear jeans basically everyday.

It's the little things that bring big surprises! Aka: The Sanrio Effect!!!!!

I freakin love this button up. Best 3 hours of my life spent on this sucker! I found another Old Navy staple in the closet that can get it!! Just like this one but man sometimes I wonder if I want my ENTIRE wardrobe customized by me…………. UMMMMM HELL YES I DO!!!

Ohhh! And those elbow-patches-turned earrings...
